An Evening in Paso with Michael Young and Margo Shugart

Complemented with the exquisite wines of L'Aventure Winery and Bodegas M Winery

Bodegas M is the dream and collaboration of Michael Young and Margo Shugart. Having lived in Spain and "cut his teeth" on Rioja wines, Michael along with hispano-phile Margo have realized in Bodegas M a life-long aspiration to bring the best possible Spanish styled wines to market. Michael is also Director of Sales for L'Aventure Winery in Paso Robles, California and has 32 years experience with companies such as Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy and champagne producer Louis Roederer.

L'Aventure Estate Winery of Paso Robles is the dream of Stephen Asseo, a native Frenchman who sold his wine making estate in Saint-�milion, France and after a painstaking worldwide search for the best vineyard available purchased land in Paso Robles and thus began his adventure to create the best wines in the world.

First course:

Sauteed Marinated Scallops with Tomatoes, Shallots, Parsley, White Wine and Butter

Second course:

Roasted Fillet of Wild Salmon, Fennel Puree, Olive Oil Emulsion
Served with the 2009 L'Aventure Roussanne, Paso Robles, CA

Third course:
Fire Roasted Duck Breast, Cherry Peppercorn Sauce

Served with the 2006 L'Aventure "Optimus" Red, Paso Robles, CA

Fourth Course:

Grilled Double Cut Lamb, Red Wine Pear Compote
Served with the 2008 L'Aventure "Estate Cuvee" Red, Paso Robles, CA
2006 Bodegas M Tempranillo, Paso Robles, CA

Fifth Course:

Warm Goat Cheese, Toasted Pecans and Fresh Raspberry Jam
