ESPN 1420 4th Annual Sports Festival Set for June 28

Honolulu radio station ESPN 1420 will present its 4th Annual ESPN 1420 Sports Festival presented by Kaiser Permanente on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the Neal Blaisdell Center Exhibition Hall. The family-oriented festival will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. offering FREE admission to attendees of all ages. The event will feature exhibitor booths by sports, health and fitness industry stakeholders and will feature activities and demonstrations from local sports clubs and athletic organizations including boxing, fitness, martial arts, zumba and kettlebell team demonstrations plus wrestling exhibitions throughout the day. Additional activities include a celebrity autograph sessions, Doraemon Zone and a Kendama tournament.

Keiki will have the opportunity to enjoy and learn from hands on activities throughout the event including: Baseball, Basketball, BMX Cycling, Golf, Rock Climbing, Spartan Race Obstacle Course, USTA Tennis and Volleyball Interactive Zones.

Vendors are invited join the excitement and promote their sports-related products and services. Applications are still being accepted and are available on the www.espn1420sportsfestival.com website.

"The ESPN 1420 Sports Festival presented by Kaiser Permanente is a true celebration of sports, health and fitness in our local community. Now in its fourth year, we're excited to build upon our past efforts and continue to inspire individuals and families to keep healthy and get moving."

The ESPN 1420 Sports Festival debuted in July 2010 with a daylong event at Kakaako Gateway Park then moving to the Neal Blaisdell Exhibition Hall since that time.
