MEET THE BAND
Jon, Matt, and Brian..........All-Acoustic, all the time.

Three years ago it started as a dream. Streetlight Cadence is the realization of a lot of change, and even more hard work. Of the original band only Jonathon remains carrying on its tradition of bringing exciting and original music to its fans.

Jonathon is the lead vocal on violin. Jon has played the violin since 10 and has always loved performing. He is now attending the Hawaii Pacific University and uses his talent whenever he can to bring smiles to the fans.

Matt recently joined the group on guitar. The newest member brings nothing but talent with precise instrumentals on not only guitar , but changes the dynamic with an occasional keyboard number.
Brian is the tall mysterious one. Not much is known of him but we do know this: He is classically trained on the Cello and the Violin, rounding out the band with a sound that will leave you wanting so much more. He may be quiet, but you won't forget he's there.

Biography
Streetlight Cadence had humble beginnings between Daniel Duncan and Jonathon Franklin congregating in the upstairs room of an International Dorm Center to simply jam out. Not long after Jesse Shiroma jumped into the mix via Craigslist, thus proving it is not only a site for sketchy people and questionable goods.
These three comprised the original line-up for SLC and recorded a 5-Track self-titl...ed EP. In time, Daniel moved to the mainland to foster a family and successful life with his wife and imparted valuable wisdom as an expert busker, songwriter, and musician to both Jon and Jesse. At this point the duo continued to maintain SLC and picked up cellist Aaron Tao who proved a great asset and greater friend for several months but eventually commitments eventually pulled him away.
After Aaron arrived another cellist. Bboy and cellist Brian Webb joined SLC and to this day proves a foundational element in the band. Through connections came another creative-minded cellist. Maia Wolf has also now proved herself to be an innovative and awesome addition to SLC.
The newest member to join is the sharp-minded and quick-fingered Lukas Mattice on guitar. Dedicating much time and effort to learning all of our songs in as little time as possible, it serves to reflect his hardworking mentality that will undoubtedly carry forward into producing excellent shows.
