Classical guitarist Max Zuckerman leads off the UH Guitar Concert Serieswith a concert featuring Bach, Albeniz, Barrios, and others. He is joined in this program by guitarists Carlos Barbosa-Lima and Ian O'Sullivan.

Rani Arbo & daisy mayhem have been brewing their own blend of American roots music for fifteen years. Their shows sparkle with songs and stories that celebrate and tackle the human condition. The quartet's energy and warmth pull audiences in, enthrall them, and return them home with opened hearts.

Guitarist Carlos Barbosa-Lima is a world class performer and recording artist who has been described as "a genius of transcriptions of Latin American music for guitar." His first recording was released in 1958; his latest in 2010. Don't miss this guitar legend at the UH Guitar Concert Series. This program includes works by Villa-Lobos, Jobim, Brouwer, Lecuona, Barrios, Gershwin, and others.
Tickets at the door: $12 general admission; $8 seniors, UH faculty, staff, students; $5 UHM music majors
