Join us at Kapiolani Community College on Feb. 14!

Student projects

The student participants entering the Science Fair competition will adhere to strict scientific rules and requirements. It will duplicate real-world scientific investigation. Students and their project advisors from the Honolulu District schools will exhibit their science/math projects.

The research project judging criteria are:

1. Creative Ability

2. Scientific Method / Engineering Design

3. Thoroughness and Knowledge of Concepts

4. Competence / Skills

5. Communication / Clarity

The display project criteria are:

1. Creative Ability

2. Scientific and Technical Accuracy / Thoroughness

3. Instructional Value / Significance

4. Dramatic Value / Visual Quality

5. Communication

6. Craftsmanship / Skill and Competence
