Rules of Speaking: Anyone wishing to speak is asked to raise their hand, and when recognized by the Chair, to address comments to the Chair. Speakers are encouraged to keep their comments under 3 minutes, and those giving reports are urged to keep their reports to 3 minutes or less. Please silence all electronic devices.
Note: The Board may take action on any agenda item. As required by the State Sunshine Law (HRS 92), specific issues not noted on this agenda cannot be voted on, unless added to the agenda.
All written testimony must be received in the Neighborhood Commission Office 48 hours prior to the meeting. If within 48 hours, written and/or oral testimony may be submitted directly to the board at the meeting.If submitting written testimony, please note the board and agenda item(s) your testimony concerns. 1. Call to Order: Chair Pro Tem Lyle Bullock
2. Election of Officers to serve from July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016. The officers to be elected are the Chair, the Vice Chair, a Secretary, and a Treasurer.
3. Public Safety Reports:
3.1 Honolulu Police Department (HPD)
3.2 Honolulu Fire Department (HFD)
3.3 Board of Water Supply (BWS)
4. Meeting Determination -- Date/Time/Location (August 2015 to June 2017)
5. Determination of Board Recess Schedule (August 2015 to June 2016)
6. Facility Use Rental Fee and Other Board Expenses
7. Request to Participate in Olelo Broadcasts or to Request Funds for an Annual Newsletter
8. Adoption of Oral Testimony Rules
9. Reports of Members' Attendance at Other Meetings
10. Public Input: Limited to three (3) minutes each
Items that are not listed on the agenda may be discussed but no Board action may be taken.
