• 39th Annual A Day At Queen Emma Summer Palace

Join us at Queen Emma Summer Palace for our 39th Annual "A Day at Queen Emma Summer Palace," a day filled with fun, food and great entertainment! A community event for the whole family, this year's event will mark 100 years of the preservation of Queen Emma Summer Palace which was saved from destruction in 1915 by Daughters of Hawai‘i. Originally called Hānaiakamalama, it was once the summer home of Queen Emma, King Kamehameha IV, and their son, Prince Albert Edward.

"A Day at Queen Emma Summer Palace" will feature delightful Hawaiian music and dance with performances by Maunalua, Royal Hawaiian Band, Kualoa, Naluhoe, Kaha‘i Topolinski & Ka Pā Hula Hawai‘i, and much more.

Local artists and crafts will feature lauhala, lei haku, books, objet d'art, local style clothing, Tutu's Attic, the Marketplace and more! Come and enjoy traditional Hawaiian cultural sharing, Hawaiian plate, poke bowls, jams and jellies, baked goods, noodles and more ‘ono food! Enter to win our prize give-away for a fabulous Hawaiian quilt with pillow shams or a beautiful koa paddle made by local craftsman, Stu Kalama.

Special admission marking this year's centennial celebration is $5.00 for adults and $1.00 for children which includes free admission into the museum. Children under 6 yrs. are free.
