Monday, October 19th, is White House Astronomy Night. Details about this event can be found at White House Astronomy Night website.

The UH Institute for Astronomy IfA will hold three free events in Honolulu in conjunction with White House Astronomy Night:

** Daytime solar viewing on McCarthy Mall (near Hamilton Library) on the UH Mānoa campus from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

** Daytime solar viewing at Kapi‘olani Park in the grassy area near the entrance to the Honolulu Zoo from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

** Stargazing at Kapi‘olani Park in the grassy area near the entrance to the Honolulu Zoo from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
