Luke Skywalker has disappeared when the galaxy needs him. Former stormtrooper Finn, desert scavenger Rey and droid BB-8 get caught up in a galactic war when they discover a map containing the whereabouts of Luke Skywalker. They join forces with Han Solo and Chewbacca to battle against Kylo Ren and the sinister First Order. Starring Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, and Adam Driver. The movie will be presented in the first floor meeting room. The movie is rated PG-13 (Parental guidance is suggested). Seating is limited and on a first come first serve basis. Free snacks will be provided while supplies last. The meeting room can get cold, so please bring a jacket or sweater. This program is sponsored by The Friends of the Hawaii Kai Public Library.

Zootopia is a diverse metropolis where all types of animals live together. Officer Judy Hopps discovers that it is tough being a bunny on a police force with big tough animals. However, she is determined to prove herself. Along with the charismatic fox con artist, Nick Wilde, Judy jumps at the opportunity to crack a big case involving the mysterious disappearance of some carnivorous citizens. The movie will be presented in the first floor meeting room. The movie is rated PG (Parental Guidance is suggested). Seating is limited and on a first come first serve basis. Library Cards
You may apply for a library card at any Hawaii public library. The initial card is FREE for Hawaii residents. Cards are also free for military personnel and their dependents with a copy of orders. The resident card replacement fee is $5.00. Resident library cards must be renewed every five years. There is no charge for the renewal.
