"Golf and sex are the only things you can enjoy without being good at them," observes Pamela, quite a knowing lady, during the opening moments of "The Fox on the Fairway." A modern-day American romp, "The Fox on the Fairway", is constructed in the old-fashioned British style of farce with an elaborate plot and dizzy characters. The play spins around a golf tournament and pulls the rug out from underneath the stuffy members of a private country club. Filled with mistaken identities, slamming doors, and over-the-top romantic shenanigans, it's a charmingly madcap adventure about love, life, and man's eternal love affair with... golf.
