30th Anniversary Great Hawaiian Rubber Duckie Race

9:00am HST - 3:30pm HST, March 18th, 2017

In its annual effort to help raise funds for those with disabilities in Hawaii, United Cerebral Palsy Association will be hosting its 30th Annual Great Hawaiian Rubber Duckie Race on Saturday, March 18th, 2017.

20,000 cute, yellow rubber duckies will be dropped into the Ala Wai Canal at precisely 1:01 p.m. from the Kalakaua Ave. Bridge. The duckies will battle their way down the 100-yard course to the finish line in an effort to win their adopted owners great prizes.

Pre-race festivities at McCully Shopping Center, from 9am - 12:30pm, with entertainment, keiki games, duck adoptions and a souvenir duckie store.

UCPA's favorite rubber duckies will take their 30th annual dive into the infamous waters of the Ala Wai Canal, at 1:01 p.m. (race time). If your duckie(s) is one of the top 50 finishers, you could win great prizes. There will be pre-race festivities at McCully Shopping Center, with local entertainment, children games and a duckie store. Come join us, it's always a duckie of a time!
