In Celebration of the Children's Summer Reading Program
Oahu Libraries Host Ronald McDonald®Show through July 15
Join Ronald McDonald® as he combines a creative blend of music, magic, skits and games to show keiki (ages 3-8) how to share their time, talents and gifts with others to help make the world a better place at selected Oahu public libraries through July 15th. This event is free to the public.
McDonald's® Restaurants of Hawaii will present "Giving Back with Ronald McDonald" at these libraries:
- June 7, 10:30 a.m. -- Aiea Public Library
- June 8, 10:30 a.m. -- Hawaii Kai Public Library
- June 9, 10 a.m. -- Kahuku Public & School Library
- June 13, 1 p.m. -- Liliha Public Library
- June 14, 1 p.m. -- Pearl City Public Library
- June 20, 10:30 a.m. -- Mililani Public Library
- June 23, 10:30 a.m. -- Salt Lake-Moanalua Public Library
- June 27 10 a.m. -- Waipahu Public Library
- June 28, 10:30 a.m. -- Kailua Public Library
- June 29, 10 a.m. -- Waimanalo Public & School Library
- July 7, 11 a.m. -- Waialua Public Library
- July 11, 6 p.m. -- Wahiawa Public Library
- July 15, 10:30 a.m. -- Aina Haina Public Library
The event schedule is subject to change. Young children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
Visit www.librarieshawaii.org or call the hosting library for more information or to sign up online for the 2017 HSPLS Summer Reading Program at 50 public libraries statewide that runs through July 15. The summer reading program is for keiki, teens, and adults.

The mission of the Hawaii State Public Library System is to provide Hawaii's residents, in all walks of life, and at each stage of their lives, with access to education, information, programs and services, and to teach and nurture the love of reading and the habit of life-long learning.

Library Cards
You may apply for a library card at any Hawaii public library. The initial card is FREE for Hawaii residents. Cards are also free for military personnel and their dependents with a copy of orders. The resident card replacement fee is $5.00. Resident library cards must be renewed every five years. There is no charge for the renewal.

On person with library material or call 733-8422, then press "0" -- have your library material with you when calling. For online renewals, use www.librarieshawaii.org and "my account" and your library card no.
