Mango Jam Honolulu to be held this Friday and Saturday

Honolulu -- The public is invited to celebrate Hawai‘i's love for mango and island culture at Mango Jam Honolulu 2017. The FREE event will take place on Friday, July 14, from 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., and on Saturday, July 15, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on the Frank F. Fasi Civic Center Grounds surrounding Honolulu Hale.

The Mayor's Office of Culture and the Arts is also pleased to announce the SURPRISE Guest Headliner on Saturday at 8 p.m. as Kalapana!

Mango Jam Honolulu offers residents and visitors "A Taste of Island Culture" by featuring a multicultural mix of food, crafts and entertainment unique to our island home. The family-friendly event will feature live entertainment, a beer garden, food booths, craft vendors, a farmers' market and more.

Headlining the entertainment on Friday evening is Kaumakaiwa Kanakaʻole, Weldon Kekauoha and Kapena Kids. Saturday's lineup features nine-time 2017 Na Hoku Hanohano Award winners, Keauhou, 2017 Male Vocalist of the Year Josh Tatofi, Hōkū Zuttermeister and Kalapana. Multicultural contemporary music and ethnic dance groups complete the roster of entertainers.

FREE parking for Mango Jam Honolulu will be available in the city's municipal parking lot and nearby Kalanimoku building. Drivers are asked to use the entrances depicted below.

The entertainment stage, food and craft booths, beer garden and farmers' market will be on the lawn between Honolulu Hale and Mission Memorial Auditorium.

Members of the Honolulu Woodturners will demonstrate their skills by using mango wood for various projects throughout the day.

Mango Jam Honolulu is presented by the Mayor's Office of Culture and the Arts and Hawaiʻi Maoli.
