Daylight Mind signs at Queens' MarketPlace

Waikoloa residents and visitors will soon have another dining option with the opening of Daylight Mind Coffee Company at Queens' MarketPlace, planned for Summer 2015. The European-style café has signed a lease for a 3,000 square foot space across from Sansei, on the end-cap of building J and adjacent to the Coronation Pavilion. The direct mauka views of Mauna Kea from the new café will complement the ocean view at Daylight's flagship location in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.

Coffee veterans Colin Finn and Sean Steiman bring their extensive management and gourmet-coffee expertise to the operation of the café. Along with locally-roasted coffees, the eatery will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner with beer and wine, focusing on innovative locally-gown foods, fresh bread and Kona coffee.

Queens' MarketPlace is a 116,000 square foot resort-lifestyle center located within the award-winning Waikoloa Beach Resort on the Kohala Coast of the Big Island. A venue for weekly hula performances, monthly mini concerts and popular monthly outdoor "movies under the stars". The shopping center is adjacent to Waikoloa Bowl where exciting outdoor concerts, festivals and special events are held.
