This course begins by referencing the federal discrimination laws, followed by the Hawaii discrimination law, intermixed with examples and definitions of discrimination verbiage.

Brand New! Land Use and Permit Requirements- Residential Zoning Standards, Optionals & Nonconformities (Oahu) 'Pending REC Approval'

1:00 pm - 5:00 pm (4 Core Credits)

Instructor: Philip Hale Wilia

This new course focuses on Revised Ordinances of Honolulu(ROH) Chapters 21-3.70-1 Residential Uses and Development Standards, Ch. 21-8.10 Optional Development Regulations & Ch. 21-4.110 Nonconformities, necessary for understanding and applying residential land use requirements. It does not replace previous Dower School of Real Estate land use requirement courses, however, it may reference county ordinances and state statutes for continuity purposes. Of particular note, we will also review Ohana Housing "A Good Intention Destined to Fail".
