KAIMUKI CHRISTMAS PARADE - THURSDAY 12/3/2015 6PM! Aloha , This is a quick reminder to join the fun at the 69th Kaimuki Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting this Thursday (December 3, 2015 - 6:00 pm) presented by the Kaimuki Business & Professional Association. There will be traffic delays in the area (links to details and streets affected below). The KBPA is still in need of volunteers to help drive the convertibles, to pick up candy, and to be monitors along the parade route. If you are interested in helping out, please click the link and it will take you to our website so you can sign up. The event will also mark the official lighting of the Kaimuki Christmas tree on top Pu'u O Kaimuki Park (also known as Menehune Hill.) MAHALO to the volunteers of Hawaii Electric Company who have supported this event in the past. See Hawaii Electric Company in action from previouse year here. TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Get the details on the event here. Each year, KBPA provides the lights and decorations for the Christmas Tree and Kaimuki Community Park. The Kaimuki Community Park organizes volunteers from the Hawaiian Electric Company to string the lights. Our December Kaimuki newsletter will be packed with new stuff and is scheduled soon.
