What's New for Summer?
We see summer approaching quickly and we know many parents are looking for ways to keep their children busy and engaged.
Additional Open Studio Times
We will offer an additional Open Studio time on Friday mornings in June, July, and August from 9am-12pm (with the exception of Friday, July 15). This means there will be ten different Open Studio time slots per week so there is sure to be something for everyone! Stop by and participate in our creative reuse art activities for just $5. No pre-registration required.
- Little Artists Workshops: Tuesday morning classes for our youngest friends ages 2-5 ($15 per class or sign up for the entire month to get a $10 discount). We just posted all the June classes! Based on high demand last summer, we will be offering two different workshop times on Tuesday mornings in June and July, so you can choose between a 9:30am class and an 11:00am class).
- Workshops With Various Artists: This section of our website includes Sunday afternoon workshops, Thursday's After School Art Workshops, and Homeschool Workshops. We just posted a bunch of June classes including Welcome to the Masquerade, Do-It-Yourself Scratch Boards, and Father's Day Gifts. We will also be adding Wednesday morning workshops in June and July to the lineup so be on the lookout for those. There's more to come!
- After School Art Workshops: Thursday afternoon classes for children ages 7 & up ($15 per class or sign up for the month to get a $10 discount). Descriptions for June will be posted soon.
- Sewing Lessons with ME+U: We are experimenting with our sewing program this summer. In June we will try out a new Membership Program and in July we will offer a Stitch Camp. Both of these programs are for students who have previous experience with our ME+U sewing program. Therefore if you are interested in beginner sewing classes (either private or group) or in participating in our June Membership Program, we highly recommend that you sign up for those ASAP because beginner class options during the summer will be limited. Please note that the Stitch Camp is for our advanced sewing students only.

Description
Nurturing tomorrow's creative thinkers
Art Explorium provides a fun, safe place where children of all ages have the opportunity and the permission to create freely. We firmly believe that art experiences are an important part of every person's growth and development. So... WE provide the space and materials, YOU provide the ideas and make them happen!
Art Explorium strives to be an eco-friendly organization. Many of the art materials in our studio are items that would normally be thrown in the landfill (old pieces of fabric, used bottle caps, small boxes, magazines, ribbon, etc.). We collect these used materials from our friends and local businesses, and Art Explorium visitors give these items a new life as art.
We offer art classes, birthday parties, and field trips to our studio. We also offer Open Studio time - come on in with your family and dabble in one or all of our art stations which offer activities like painting, sculpting, drawing, making mosaics and more. See you there!
General Information
Come on by! During Open Studio time you are free to drop in, use our space and materials and explore the process of creating.
We also offer art classes, birthday parties and field trips to our studio!
Notes
Hours and price subject to change without notice.
Ample metered parking is available on the street or in the lot behind our building.
