Featured Upcoming Workshops

• Based on popular demand, Little Artists Workshops for our youngest artist friends are now on Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:30 instead of Tuesdays. Sign up for the entire month of November (4 workshops) and get a $10 discount. Upcoming themes include Halloween Treats, Music Mania & Puppet Show. Ages 2-5.
• We are getting in the spirit of the season with a couple Thanksgiving-themed workshops. Our Wall Hangings & Bouquets of Thanks workshop will take a look at things we have to be thankful for, and children will create their own wall hangings and bouquets to express their gratitude. To keep things fun and festive we are offering a hilarious Let's Go Turkey Bowling workshop where children will create their own bowling game that you can play together as a family! Sign up today!
• We still have Afternoon Art Club happening on Thursdays from 4-5:30pm, ages 7 & up. In November and a bit of December we will delve into the theme of Realism & Abstract Art. We will explore various arts including felting, drawing, portraits, and music. Sign up for 3 Thursdays in November + 1 in December (total of 4 classes) and get $10 off. Please note that Art Club is cancelled on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 24.

Some Holiday Updates

The Holidays are fast approaching and we want to point out some updates to our Calendar.

• We will be closed in the afternoon this Monday, October 31, Halloween. We will still have Open Studio on Monday morning from 9-12, but we know everyone will be trick-or-treating that afternoon so we decided to close up shop early. Have a spooktacular and safe time!
• Thanksgiving Holiday - we will be closed on Thursday, November 24. We wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends. We will add an extra Open Studio on Friday, November 25 so we hope to see you then. We will be open Black Friday from 9-12 and 2-5 so celebrate by creating earth friendly art with your loved ones.
• Reuse Mart to kick off the holidays with some earth-friendly holiday shopping and activities

Art Explorium provides a community art studio to nurture the creative potential in children.



Art Explorium is a non-profit organization in Kaimuki that provides art opportunities for youth. Stop by and try out our art stations (request a $5 per person coupon>>>).

Open Studio Hours
Monday and Thursday from 9-12 am
Monday through Friday from 2-5 pm
Saturday from 1-4 pm

Art Explorium provides a fun, safe place where children of all ages have the opportunity and the permission to create freely. We firmly believe that art experiences are an important part of every person's growth and development. So... WE provide the space and materials, YOU provide the ideas and make them happen!



Art Explorium strives to be an eco-friendly organization. Many of the art materials in our studio are items that would normally be thrown in the landfill (old pieces of fabric, used bottle caps, small boxes, magazines, ribbon, etc.). We collect these used materials from our friends and local businesses, and Art Explorium visitors give these items a new life as art.



We offer art classes, birthday parties, and field trips to our studio. We also offer Open Studio time - come on in with your family and dabble in one or all of our art stations which offer activities like painting, sculpting, drawing, making mosaics and more. See you there!




General Information
Come on by! During Open Studio time you are free to drop in, use our space and materials and explore the process of creating.

We also offer art classes, birthday parties and field trips to our studio!

Ample metered parking is available on the street or in the lot behind our building.
