"ONO FRIDAYS KAIMUKI - August 2017

Ono Friday Kaimuki is back until next summer! Due to poplar demand and success of the event, Ono Fridays will continue every month for the rest of the year!

Stop by Kaimuki High School every 2nd Friday of the month for Ono Fridays Kaimuki! Enjoy ono grinds from Hawaii's local food trucks and vendors!

The next Ono Fridays Kaimuki is on August 11th, 2017 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Kaimuki High School. This event is a monthly fundraiser for the Kaimuki High School Football Team.

Last year featured some great food vendors and this year will feature both food/craft vendors.

Show your support to the Kaimuki Bulldogs Football team! Bring the whole family and enjoy great food in this wonderful community!

LETTER FROM DAVID TAUTOFI, VARSITY FOOTBALL COACH

Aloha,

I wanted to thank you all for the amazing time and heart you've allowed us to be a part of and that you've given us with Ono Fridays at Kaimuki High School. It has been an amazing avenue to reaching out to our community, building our school programs, reconnecting with people in the community and alumni of the school bringing much needed light and awareness to our school. Lastly, it has been a huge blessing for our football program in helping us move forward in the program allowing us to purchase much needed equipment and gear that we've needed for literally over centuries as it feels. Even with what I've mentioned, your participation in this all has done so much more than you realize for the entire community.

With this all being said, we've decided to continue the Ono Fridays event beginning August and on until next summer. I was able to see the importance that an event like this is for our school and community and wanted to reach out to you all in hopes that you would all continue to be a part of it as we've been blessed with before. We will be continuing on with it being the 2nd week of the month so you can take a look ahead on your calendars. I also wanted to let you know that I welcome your tips and advice if you have any that would help us to be better as a whole. It's just a blessing to have this in general.
