For groups of 20 to 45: The fee includes a party facilitator, cake, juice, ice cream, a craft, and a guided tour. Provide your own lunch, or request a Deluxe package, which includes lunch, a candy-filled animal piata, and stickers for the kids. For more information Basic: $285 for up to 20 guests, $10 per additional guest Deluxe: $400 for up to 20 guests, $15 per additional guest (Absolute maximum head count is 50 people. $100 additional fee if head count goes past 45) |

For kids in grades (ages 6-11). Wild Adventures await! Spend a week with us on Safari at the Honolulu Zoo. Behind the scenes encounters, insights from zookeeper's, animal arts, crafts and games make this the place to be! Children must have completed Kindergarten to participate in this program. PRE-VACATION ADVENTURES: FOR YOUNGER DAY CAMPERS Ages 4 and 5, designed for children who have not yet completed Kindergarten. Children will explore the zoo using all their senses. Keeper talks, games, walking tours, crafts and our biofact collection will bring the zoo experience to a whole new level for these youngsters. Ideal for elementary age students interested in animals and the environment! Participants will create enrichment for one of the Zoo’s inhabitants and be led on an educational tour to learn more about the animal and its habitat. TWILIGHT TOURS Let us be your guides for a magical evening adventure as we discover what happens at the Honolulu Zoo when the sun goes down and the gates close. All are welcome, including families with strollers. Held almost every Friday and Saturday Night at the Zoo! Guests meet at the front of the zoo at 5:15 for check in, payment and assignment to their knowledgeable and friendly Education guide. 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm Recommended for adults and kids ages 4 and up Cost: $14 per adult, $10 per child ages 4 to 12 RESERVATIONS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED |
STARGAZING AT THE ZOO Discover animals that are out of this world, as well as those that are more down to earth in this exciting education program. Join us on an evening tour of the zoo in addition to exploring the night sky above Hawaii.
Fridays in 2011: RESERVATIONS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED |
Join us for an evening of tours and delicious food as we explore the Zoo first at twilight and then with red-filter flashlights. The program begins at 6 pm and ends at 10 pm. The pre-dinner tour will give you a glimpse of the Zoo, followed by a more thorough look after dinner. Dinner is buffet style and includes salad, fruit salad, rice, chicken, vegetarian pasta, pizza, and cookies. The evening concludes with camp fire time where we roast marshmallows, make SÕmores, and have the chance to see and touch some animal skulls, skins, feathers and eggs. This program is geared to those who do not wish to Snooze at the Zoo, but are looking for a fun evening adventure instead. Dinner Safari is recommended for adults and families with children ages 4 and up.

For further information call the Honolulu Zoo Society at: 971-7195 POLICIES:Registration is on a first come, first served basis. If a class is full, you will be placed on the waiting list. If we cannot provide a space for you we will reschedule you or return your payment. We do not refund for missed or partially missed days. Please note that some elements of our programs may change due to animal and staff availability. We reserve the right to cancel a program if enrollment is too low. FAMILY PROGRAMS you may cancel up to 10 days prior to the program, minus a $20 servicing fee. Your entire payment is forfeited if you cancel less than 10 days before the start of the program. When possible, we will reschedule you. BIRTHDAY PARTIES you may reschedule/cancel up to 10 days prior to the party date, minus a $50 servicing fee. Your entire payment is forfeited if you cancel less than 10 days prior to the party. An additional fee of $100 will be assessed if your guest count exceeds the 45 person limit. Program discounts are given to HZS premium memberships only (Flamingo/Basic Family Pass excluded). |
