John Mount, director Stephen Strugnell, pianist Sister Grace Capellas, costume coordinator Students in the UH Opera Workshop class perform scenes from operas, operettas, and musicals, including Kiss Me Kate (Porter), La Clemenzadi Tito (Mozart), Most Happy Fella (Loesser), The Mikado (Sullivan), Barber of Seville (Rossini), and Les Contes d'Hoffmann (Offenbach). Tickets (at the door): $10 general admission, $6 seniors (65+), UH faculty/staff/students. Free for UHM music majors. (Performance is eligible for Mus 199 credit)

Students of the Music Department's ethnic music and dance ensembles present their end of semester performances, including Korean dance, Okinawan music, Okinawan dance, Japanese gagaku and koto, Japanese dance, Chinese music, Javanese gamelan, Philippine dance, Tahitian dance, and Hawaiian hula and chant. The performance begins in Orvis Auditorium and after intermission moves to the Barbara Smith Amphitheater. Free admission.
