COMING FEBRUARY 2018 EVENTS
Music at Manoa tickets are now available online.
Here's what to do:
- Click the "Buy Tickets Now" button in the event description below.
- After completing your purchase, save or print the Ticket Confirmation.
- Bring the Ticket Confirmation and your ID to the concert.
- Pick up your tickets at "Will Call"
Online sales end a few hours before the event start time. Remaining tickets will be available at the door one hour before the concert. Sales fees will apply to both online and at-the-door sales. No difference in price (but you may have to stand in line at the door).
Payment methods:
- CARDS - Visa, MasterCard, Discover (online and at the door)
- CHECK - payable to "University of Hawaii" (at the door only)
- CASH - US$ (at the door only)

Kenny Endo joins Bamboo & Cherry Blossoms

Kenny Endo joins Boston-based trio Bamboo & Cherry Blossoms in a performance of newly choreographed works for Japanese dance - taiko - koto - shakuhachi.
Michiko Kurata dances in the style of nihonbuyo, with live music by Japanese and American composers for taiko percussion, koto (Claudia Erland) and shakuhachi (Chris Molina).
Tickets available online: $15 general admission, $10 UH students/faculty/staff (ID required) & seniors (65+), $5 UHM music majors.
Remaining tickets at the door. (plus applicable fees for all purchases)
Music students: this concert is eligible for Mus 199 concert attendance credit.

"Tributes and Anniversaries"
The UH Wind Ensemble celebrates three twentieth-century composers and their works: Leonard Bernstein, on the centenary of his birth, with his Prelude, Fugue and Riffs; David Maslanka, a dear friend of the wind band, who died this past August; and the fifty-year anniversary of Karel Husa's monumental and all-too-relevant work of resistance, Music for Prague 1968.
The UH Symphonic Band, Gabriel Arnold, conductor, will perform works by Fillmore, Wagner, Van Der Roost, Giroux, and Hazo.
Tickets available online: $12 general admission, $8 UH students/faculty/staff (ID required) & seniors (65+), $5 UHM music majors.
Remaining tickets at the door. (plus applicable fees for all purchases)
Music students: this concert is eligible for Mus 199 concert attendance credit.
