Expect High Energy Salsa When AguaDulce Plays the Atherton
The Summer Concert Series at HPR's Atherton Performing Arts Studio features AguaDulce Salsa Band on August 24, 2019.
We're clearing off the dance floor for this one! Headed by congo player Carlos Betancourt, AguaDulce features seven to nine performers playing percussion, horns, piano, and bass, producing a sound that is as big as it is danceable. This group offers exciting music based on traditional Latin American and Caribbean salsa, merengue and bachata rhythms infused with splashes of modern bass-driven reggae, hip-hop, jazz and funk.
Reservations may be made online at www.hprtickets.org or by calling the station (955-8821) during regular business hours.
