Rules for Virtual Participation: All participants will be muted by the moderator. You will be recognized by raising your hand to be recognized by the chair. You can also write comments and questions in the chat box which we can address.
Rules of Speaking: Anyone wishing to speak is asked to raise their hand, and when recognized by the Chair, to address comments to the Chair. Speakers are encouraged to keep their comments under three (3) minutes, and those giving reports are urged to keep their reports under three (3) minutes. When not speaking or when finished speaking, please mute yourself. Please silence all electronic devices.
Note: The Board may take action on any agenda item. As required by the State Sunshine Law (HRS 92), specific issues not noted on this agenda cannot be voted on, unless added to the agenda. A two-thirds (2/3) vote eight (8) of this 11-member Board is needed to add an item to the agenda. Items may not be added if they are of major importance and will affect a significant number of people.

E. Kapiolani Community College s Office of Community and Continuing Education is sponsoring another Kai ulu Webinar called Kalaupapa Place Names featuring author John R. Kukeakalani Clark on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Please see flyer for information and registration link at the above link.
F. There will be a community meeting to gather community input on the 12th Avenue Promenade in late September or October. Exact date and time to be announced.

B. Resolution Urging the City and County of Honolulu to Adopt a Heritage Tree Ordinance submitted because of concern of the loss of trees and overdevelopment in Kaimuk .
C. Resolution Recognizing Kapiolani Community College Designation as a Tree Campus USA, 2021, the newest and only one from Hawaii this year.
D. Vote on having lelo film/broadcast our Neighborhood Board Meeting
E. Discussion on whether to continue with the Permitted Interaction Groups or form others to keep us abreast of timely topics - Transportation, Environment and Planning and Zoning.
F. Approval of Wednesday, August 18, 2021 Draft Regular Meeting Minutes

A. The next regular meeting of the Kaimuki Neighborhood Board will be on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. virtually via Zoom.
