Rules of Speaking: Anyone wishing to speak is asked to raise their hand, and when recognized by the Chair, to address comments to the Chair. Speakers are encouraged to keep their comments under three (3) minutes, and those giving reports are urged to keep their reports under three (3) minutes. Please silence all electronic devices.

Note: The Board may take action on any agenda item. As required by the State Sunshine Law (HRS 92), specific issues not noted on this agenda cannot be voted on, unless added to the agenda. A two-thirds (2/3) vote eight (8) of this 11-member Board is needed to add an item to the agenda. Items may not be added if they are of major importance and will affect a significant number of people.

Covid-19: As a courtesy, please comply with social distancing of six (6) feet whenever and wherever possible to mitigate the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Mask/facial coverings are required at all times while in attendance within the facility and practicing social distancing when possible in compliance with municipal orders. B. On Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Diamond Head State Monument will be hosting their annual Kids to Parks Day event, a national day of outdoor play celebrated by parks, cities, and towns nationwide. Bring your ohana and take part in the fun-filled day of activities, scavenger hunts, family-friendly guided tours, and free shaved ice at L ahi. The Trees for Kaimuk will also be there with fun, educational and crafty activities so make sure to stop by. And as always Parking is free for all Kama ina in the park.”

C. Revisiting 12th Avenue Promenade. We are scheduling meetings for the community and separately, the businesses owners and landlords in the near future to go over the initial ideas presented to the Business Task Force to gather input. Sketches and proposals at the above link.

D. The Department of Design and Construction expects to give an update to Project 14D at the next Board Meeting. This is in regards to the resurfacing of Sierra Drive/Maunalani Circle, 3600 Block of Sierra Drive and the lower part of Wilhelmina Rise.

E. The Kaimuk Library is planning to landscape their Kokohead Frontage to make it more inviting with trees, native plants and benches. They will present their plans at the next Neighborhood Board meeting on May 20, 2022.
