Georges is the manager of a Saint-Tropez nightclub featuring drag entertainment, and Albin is his long-time romantic partner and the star attraction. Things are going swimmingly until George's son, Jean-Michel, brings home his fiancee's ultra-conservative parents to meet them. Georges reluctantly agrees to masquerade as a straight man to meet the family of the bride-to-be. But Albin has other plans, with hilarious results.
Based on a film and stage version of the same title (also the source material for the movie "The Birdcage"), this crowd-pleasing and heartwarming show is about family, commitment and show biz.

Patrons who use a wheelchair are permitted to purchase one additional ticket for their companion. Wheelchair and companion seating are sold at the box office by calling 808-733-0274. Please be sure to inform the box office of your seating needs when purchasing a ticket. The theatre has a lift from the back parking lot to the main entrance.

Since 1915, Diamond Head Theatre has served as Hawaii's "Broadway of the Pacific." A new theatre is in construction and anticipated to open in 2023 with a capital campaign underway. DHT showcases Hawaii's finest local talent, guest artists, and offers performance arts education. DHT is a local, independent nonprofit organization that relies on community support to present its shows and community programs.
