2. MONSTER HOMES
2.1 Identify and track: 3615 Sierra Drive, 1352 Koko Head, 1891 Pala Street, 4103 Pakolu Place
2.2 Identify other advocates we can collaborate with.
2.3 Possible bill language for City Council consideration.
Prior suggestion to draft language to pursue the licenses of
the design professionals and contractors involved with these monster home projects.
Define what a monster home is.
3. LEGISLATION TRACKING
3.1 City Council
3.2 Mayor
3.2.1 Tiny home villages for the homeless. Locations TBD. Possibly at residual parcels along freeway or surrounding Leahi hospital.
3.3 Legislature
3.3.1 Sea-level rise discussion. Buffer, adapt, retreat.
3.3.2 Queen Liliuokalani elementary redevelopment recommendations (HB 497).
3.3.3 Churches, schools, and medical institutions to build housing on their lands for purchase as fee simple regardless of underlying zoning (HB 814).
4. COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT IDEAS
4.1 Leahi hospital & surrounding parcels recommendations
4.2 Ala Wai flood management plan (https://www.honolulu.gov/AlaWai)
