The Friends of Monoa Public Library Book SALE
Description: Join us for the Friends of Mānoa Library Fall Book Sale, a much-anticipated community event where you can discover a wide variety of books, DVDs, and CDs at unbeatable prices. Taking place on Saturday, September 14, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, and Sunday, September 15, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, the sale will be held in the Mānoa Library Meeting Room at Mānoa Public Library, located at 2716 Woodlawn Drive, Honolulu, HI 96822.
You'll have the opportunity to browse through hundreds of items, most them priced at just $1.00, making it easy to stock up on your favorite reads, movies, and music without breaking the bank. For those with an eye for rare finds, collectible books will be available at special prices.
All proceeds from the sale will go directly to supporting Mānoa Library's programs and services, including beloved initiatives such as Keiki Story Time and Summer Reading Program prizes. Your purchases will help ensure that these valuable programs continue to thrive.
"Manoa Public Library offers creative and innovative design features including natural lighting, photovoltaic panels, water-efficient fixtures, recaptured water for irrigation, and landscaping composed entirely of native plants," said State Librarian Richard Burns. "The State will seek Leadership in Energy and Environment Design (LEED) Silver Certification or higher from the U. S. Green Building Council for this Library."
The $10.3 million, 29,425-square-foot Library is located at 2716 Woodlawn Drive, the site of the original Library.
