ARBOR DAY EVENTS ACROSS THE STATE HONOR TREES AND FOSTER COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS


(HONOLULU) – Arbor Day is November 4 and celebrations will take place across Hawaiʻi this weekend. Events sponsored by a variety of organizations will feature tree giveaways, educational booths, cultural activities, and workshops.

Help outplant 2400 native trees and shrubs in a reforestation area in Honolua! Park alongside of road, look for the signs. The planting site is a 0.7 mile walk uphill on a dirt road. Please carpool.

Forest Bathing Hawaiʻi – Arbor Day Finale
The finale of the Healing Trees series of free forest bathing walks for Maui, includes a forest bathing walk and ʻōhiʻa tree planting on a private farm in Upcountry Maui. Also a chance to meet and be guided by the Mauians whoʻve become forest therapy guides as a result of the Healing Trees project. Tea and snack at end of event.
