At All About Facials & Waxing we take pride in offering a multitude of facial and waxing treatments; especially designed for your specific skin type.

FACIAL TREATMENTS

Each facial is custom designed for your own skin's needs. All facials include a complete skin care analysis, facial cleansing, exfoliation, steam with face and décolleté massage, impurity extractions, and either a hydration or purifying mask. I also include a moisturizing hand treatment with heated mitts.

SIGNATURE EUROPEAN FACIAL
	This facial is designed for all skin types. Skin is cleansed, exfoliated, massaged with steam, and then masked.

	COLLAGEN FACIAL
	Designed for dehydrated, tired skin this facial restores skin cells leaving them full and firm. Fine lines and dehydration are visibly reduced with a combination of soft collagen cream mask and a freeze dried collagen blanket.

	CUSTOM FACIAL
	This facial is recommended for those experiencing a facial for the first time, or those who wish to address specific skin care concerns.

	AROMA THERAPY FACIAL
	This unique facial infuses the purest, most aromatic blended oils to eliminate fatigue, stress, and tension leaving your face balanced and youthful.

	REPECHAGE FOUR-LAYER FACIAL
	This famous facial uses the elements of the sea to create dramatic results. Layer 1 consists of a seaweed filtrate from freshly harvested seaweed to rebalance and tone the skin. Layer 2 is a hydrating cream that is massaged into the skin. Layer 3 is a fresh seaweed mask to eliminate toxins and nourish the cells. Layer 4 is the self heating mask made to activate the properties of the seaweed mask beneath it. If you are allergic to iodine this facial is not for you.

	REPECHAGE PURIFYING FACIAL
	This purifying aromatherapy facial is designed to clarify congested skin or acne-prone skin. It includes extensive pore cleaning through extractions and a calming mask that leaves skin clean and fresh.

	TEEN FACIAL
	Due to the changes occurring during this special phase of life a thorough skin evaluation will determine the proper skincare needs. This facial involves deep pore cleaning with oil free products to remove impurities leaving the skin naturally pH balanced and healthy. The treatment is complete with advice for daily skin care maintenance.

	GLYCOLIC 30 / LACTIC 40 PEELS
	An application of acid helps loosens dead skin cells to enhance moisture. Improves uneven skin tone and texture to help reverse the effects of the sun or acne. A series of (6) six treatments is recommended.

	GRAPE WINE PEEL
	An acid peel from white fermented grapes this peel is designed for those with sensitive skin. A series of (6) six treatments is recommended.

	Peels can be added to any facial service.

	FOOT REFLEXOLOGY
	This is an ancient foot massage incorporating pressure points connected to the body's visceral organs. This 3,000 year old ritual helps bring the body back to its homeostatic balance.

WAXING TREATMENT

All About Facials & Waxing carries an azulene wax for sensitive skin. Please let me know if you are taking any medication for your skin prior to facial waxing, including retin-a, accutane, or alpha-hydroxyl acids.

ABOUT US

Carolyn Janisse Esthetician

After graduating from Western Connecticut State University 1987, I moved to Hawaii to pursue a career in photography. I worked at HeadShots, as their head photographer for two years at Ala Moana Shopping Center. It was while working with these amazing hair/makeup artist that aroused my interest in makeup and skincare. So I headed back to the East Coast for further schooling and training. After graduating from the School of Esthetics, I then took my first job at The Adams Broderick Image Group, where I apprenticed, trained and worked under the Clarin's Institute for two years. I left that position to be promoted as a spa manager/ lead esthetician at HairEscape, a full-service Aveda Salon & Spa, for eight years. While in this position I received advanced training and schooling at the Aveda Institute in New York City.

In the Fall of 2001, my heart called me back to Hawaii and so the birth of All About Facials & Waxing in Spring 2002. The shop was first located in the Hawaii Kai Shopping Center for five years. The shop now in its present location of five years is on the ground floor in the Kaimuki Professional Building. Even after 20 years in this endeavor it's the love of the business that pushes me to gain great respect for the field of esthetics. I have watched the skincare business over the last 20 years explode. So I try to stay updated with current education, training and product to give the best possible service I can offer. For me, it is about educating and empowering my clients; they need to be taught the best possible way to properly care for their specific skincare needs. My most valuable asset is my reputation, so I strive hard to give my best to each and every one of my clients. My clients are my best form of advertisement - their words and trust in my services to others have really grown my business over the last decade.

When requesting your appointment, please inform me of any special needs you many require.Please leave all valuables at home. All About Facials & Waxing is not responsible for any lost items. To minimize any distractions please turn off cell phones, pagers, and watches.

If you are late, your appointment may be shortened to allow other clients their allotted time. Please give a 24 hour notice for any appointment cancellation. If you do not show up for your appointment you will be charged for the missed appointment at your next service.
