City Opens Its Provisional Outdoor Screening And Triage (Post) Facility
Mayor Kirk Caldwell today announced the City's new Provisional Outdoor Screening and Triage (POST) facility. The POST is an extension of the HONU (Homeless Outreach and Navigation for Unsheltered Persons) program that temporarily repurposes resources from the $6 million Ohana Zone contract. HONU provides very temporary shelter and triage services while navigating people experiencing homelessness to shelter. Movie Museum Temporarily Closed From March 19, 2020
In accordance with the Hawaii State Government's directive on COVID-19 issued on March 17, 2020, Movie Museum shall be temporarily closed from March 19, 2020. The film screenings scheduled from March 19 to 30 shall be postponed until further notice. Our facility will open again when one or more of the following three conditions are met:
1. A major Hawaii theater chain (Consolidated or Regal) re-opens for normal
operations
2. The Honolulu Museum of Art's Doris Duke Theatre re-opens for normal
operations
3. Governor Ige and/or other Hawaii State authorities announce that it is safe
