Children's Storytime will be conducted on Sundays: June 5, 19, 26 and July 10 at 10:30 a.m. Children ages 9 and younger, accompanied by a parent or caregiver, are invited to listen to stories, participate in finger plays and rhymes, and make-and-take home a small craft to help them remember the day's stories.

June 9 (Thursday) at 3 p.m. - Father's Day Pop-up Card Workshop. Children ages 5 and older, accompanied by a parent or caregiver, are invited to learn how to make a special Father's Day Pop-up Card to take home with them for their father.

June 13 (Monday) at 6 p.m. - "The Fire and Ice Spectacular!" Mad Science of Hawaii will present a fast-paced, high energy and educational demonstration of science experiments involving fire and dry ice.

June 21 (Tuesday) at 5:30 p.m. - "Novel Destinations: There's the Door?" Storytellers Neal Milner, Dann Seki, and Nyla Fujii-Babb will present original stories based on a humorous and poignant examination of the struggle to answer some of life's BIG questions such as "Who am I?", "Where am I?", and "What's next?" Musician "Gentleman" Jeffry Stephen Babb will open the "show" with a sing-along of "oldies but goodies." This event is suitable for ages 12 and older.

June 29 (Wednesday) at 3:30 p.m. - "Fourth of July CD Spinner Workshop." Learn how to make a patriotic craft using a CD (provided by the Library) and take it home with you.

July 12 (Tuesday) at 6 p.m. - Lyn Ford, a nationally-recognized storyteller from Ohio, will present "Home-Fried Tales," stories rooted in her family's multi-cultural, African-American heritage. Ford's performances are enhanced with rhythm and rhyme, history and mystery, humor and heart.
