RRR Recycling....A Locally Owned Family Business

RRR goal is to insure customers who redeem HI-5 containers at our sites experience courteous and accurate service. We've developed some guidelines which we hope will make recycling for you a quick and simple process

As part of the State of Hawaii's beverage container grant program to offer customers convenient
redemption sites with longer hours of operation, RRR Recycling is developing Hawaii's first "redemption kiosks".
Please visit our sites at Waikele Shopping Center, Windward Mall and 3109 Waialae Ave in Kaimuki.
Customers enjoy redemption at the kiosks and the longer hours.


RRR Recycling designed and built the original, unique and innovative recycling truck called the Mobile Redemption Center (MRC). The truck is equipped with Reverse Vending Machines and is driven to sites islandwide. Our redemption sites offer the consumer several options for the redemption of their HI-5 cent containers including RVM's, handcounts and weighing.

Commodities collected and processed by RRR Recycling include beverage containers, cardboard, white paper and newspaper from residential and commercial customers.

RRR Recycling management and employees work hard to provide Hawaii with an efficient system of container redemption at numerous locations throughout Oahu. Our partnerships with retailers such as Times Market, Foodland Stores, Windward Mall, Waikele Shopping Center & Waipahu Town Center have made redemption at convenient locations possible for our residents and visitors.

Company Profile
In 2005 with the passage of the Bottle Redemption Bill, the Henriques' Family expanded operations to include RRR Recycling Services Hawaii, to provide additional redemption avenues for Hawaii's residents.

RRR owner Dominic Henriques, lived in Oregon, while obtaining his B.S. Degree in Environmental Services and had first hand experience with bottle redemption and mandatory recycling. The Henriques' family, living in Hawaii for generations, believed the bottle bill would aid in reducing litter while saving our natural resources.

RRR Recycling designed and built the original, unique and innovative recycling truck called the Mobile Redemption Center (MRC). Our redemption sites offer the consumer several options for the redemption of their HI-5 cent containers including RVM's, handcounts and weighing.

A pay back program is also being offered to restaurants, bars and lounges. Recycling bins are provided to these establishments to segregate on site for deposit and non-deposit containers allowing them to receive cash credits.

Guidelines
RRR goal is to insure customers who redeem HI-5 containers at our sites experience courteous and accurate service. We've developed some guidelines which we hope will make recycling for you a quick and simple process.

Please inform the attendant how you'd like to redeem your containers:

1) Count up to 200
2) Weigh using state certified scales
3) Use RVM's (Reverse Vending Machines)

• Please be sure containers are clean and empty
  
• Containers should be separated by type: Aluminum, Glass & Plastic
  
• Crushed cans and plastic containers are acceptable.
  
• We request caps be removed from plastic containers to insure containers are empty.
  
• Separation of smaller containers 17oz or less
  
• (i..e. red bull cans, etc.) insures accurate refunds
