Job Title: Activities Aide, Fun, Fun, Fun
Job Type: Part Time

Description: I'm looking for an out-going, enthusiastic, fun-loving person to assist elderly clients in an activities program. Must be dependable, responsible and a team player. Must be able to drive a 12-passenger van and have a clean driving abstract.
Great working environment! A creative mind and experience with the elderly or children a plus!

Owners
Elders Elite is owned by its founder, Ruth Giffard, COTA. She had collaboratively planned and operated a successful senior day program for over 5 years before venturing on her own to bring a program that supports seniors in their own community.

Ruth is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant who has worked with the elderly and in the Adult Day Health field for over 16 years. She has extensive experience working with seniors who have early to moderate stage Alzheimer's disease and other forms of Dementia.

Lisa has a Master's Degree in Social Work and is a Licensed Social Worker. She was a Program Director for over 12 years with programs designed to assist the elderly.

How about a cup of coffee at a local restaurant or some window shopping at the mall. Anything's possible...

Memory Enhancement
Engaging games that promote concentration, recall and memory enhancement.

Are You Hungry?
Balanced, Nutricious, hot lunch with a varied daily menu. Snack served in the afternoon.

Arts and Crafts
You'll be amazed at what you can do! Assortment of mediums - colored pens & pencils, glass & enamel paints, 3-D crafts and more.

Everybody's a Star
Songs from the past, songs of Hawaii and songs of Japan.

Fun, Fun, Fun
Let's play games...try your luck at our version of a roulette style game. Is poker your game? How about dominoes? BINGO? There's more, come and join us.

Eligibility

Should be ambulatory (walkers & canes okay)
Able to feed & toilet themselves
Non-combative
Not prone to wandering
Must have a current TB clearance

Transportation Services
Transportation services are provided free of charge within a limited area & based upon available seating. Please call for information.

Drop-In Service
Drop-In service is offered to all registered clients. Call for rates and terms of service.
