NEW at THE LIBRARY
POP-UP SALE, Friday, August 16, 5:00--8:00 p.m.
Join The Friends of Kaimuki Public Library for a multi-media sale. Peruse the collection of used CDs, DVDs, and yes, albums and VHS tapes! Be part of the Third Fridays Kaimuki community at this fun event. Pop into the covered and lighted area of the parking lot for some great bargains!
PROGRAMS
SUNDAY STORYTIMES@Kaimuki Public Library
Sundays, 10:30 a.m.
Our Sunday Storytime continues! Children and their families are invited to listen to fun stories, poems and songs, followed by an art project. Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver, please. If you need a sign language interpreter, call the library at least 2 weeks prior to the program.
REMINDERS
ONGOING BOOKSALE in the Library, presented by the Friends of Kaimuki Public Library
Browse and choose from a fabulous assortment of used books, $1.00 for hardcover or .50 for paperbacks, unless specifically priced with an orange sticker. Please pay in the black box. Shelves are stocked daily so stop by often to find your special treasure!
LIBRARY "PIN" NUMBERS
Your default library PIN, or personal identification number, is the last 4 digits of the telephone number you gave us at the time you applied for your library card. You are able to change that number to another 4 digit PIN through your online account or at the library. Remember your PIN number as we can only give it to you or change it if you show a government issued photo ID.
WIRELESS INTERNET IS AVAILABLE
The library provides free wireless internet access for your convenience! You can use your own laptop computer or other Internet-enabled mobile device to get internet access anywhere in the library. Just log on with your library card number and PIN.

About Kaimuki Public Library
The mission of the Hawaii State Public Library System is to provide Hawaii's residents, in all walks of life, and at each stage of their lives, with access to education, information, programs and services, and to teach and nurture the love of reading and the habit of life-long learning.

Sun - 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
Mon - 10:00 am to 8:00 pm
Tues - 10:00 am to 8:00 pm
Wed. - 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
Thurs.- 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
Fri- 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm (beginning 12/7/2012)
Sat & State Holidays - Closed
Library Cards
You may apply for a library card at any Hawaii public library. The initial card is FREE for Hawaii residents. Cards are also free for military personnel and their dependents with a copy of orders. The resident card replacement fee is $5.00. Resident library cards must be renewed every five years. There is no charge for the renewal.

Loan Renewals:
On person with library material or call 733-8422, then press "0" -- have your library material with you when calling. For online renewals, use www.librarieshawaii.org and "my account" and your library card no.
Book Drops -- for after business hours -- one by the front door or drive-up book drop in the upper parking lot
