PROGRAMS @ KAIMUKI PUBLIC LIBRARY
NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK IS April 13--19
AND EARTH DAY IS April 22
Celebrate on April 16 in the Green Room when you stop by the K?kua Hawai?i Foundation's table between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. to learn about Plastic Free Hawai?i.
Plastic Free Hawai?i is a program of the K?kua Hawai?i Foundation; they provide resources, tools and training to educate schools, business partners and community members on the environmental and health benefits of going plastic-free to minimize the consumption of single-use plastics in our islands.
This free program is open to all, and you can get a free tote bag in exchange for making a plastic-free commitment to bring your own bag when you go shopping.
