Aloha,

This year has been a year full of new and exciting things happening in and around our community and in Kaimuki High School. One of the many great things that have been happening was the Ono Friday's which began in January. Ono Friday's was an event initially meant to help raise funds for the athletic program at the High School but it also helped to reconnect or school and the community. Food vendors from around the island had a chance to share their specialty food items and people had a great time in fellowship with everyone around.

It's been a great venue and event for everyone around especially for our school. As we move into the month of July, Ono Friday's will be postponed until January of 2017, meaning there will be no Ono Friday's for the rest of 2016.

We'd like to say a special thank you to the community of Kaimuki, Palolo, Kapahulu and to all of the supporters who have come out to enjoy the event and in making it happen. As we put Ono Friday's on hold, other plans have been in the works. Kaimuki High School invites you to come and enjoy the "Kaimuki High School: Back-to-School Carnival" happening Friday through Sunday, July 22-24, 2016.

This is our first carnival in nearly 40 years and we are excited about it. We hope that you will mark your calendars for the Carnival and come out and support the Kaimuki Bulldogs!!
