With over 500 titles in print, including BeachHouse's children's books, Mutual is Hawaii's largest trade publisher, publishing for close to 40 years in almost every genre. Mutual also offers private label and author-published services.
Mutual Publishing's Mission
Established in 1974 with the publication of Hawaii Planner, A Travel Diary, Mutual Publishing is proud to offer one of the largest selections of Hawaiiana titles found in the Islands. We publish books about everything from Hawaiian, history, and natural sciences to fiction, and local arts and crafts. Mutual Publishing draws from a diverse group of dynamic authors, artists, photographers, and experts to be Hawaii's largest trade publishing house. Mutual Publishing also offers a full range of private label products and services.
Although Mutual Publishing's product lines have grown considerably, our goal has remained simple:
"To be Hawaii's premier provider of Hawaiiana books and private label merchandise."

Office Location/Hours/Map
We are located in Kaimuki at the intersection of Waialae Avenue and Center St. behind Bank of Hawaii. Free one-hour parking is available in the upper lot on the left side of Center St. Our office is across the street in the Franklin Variety Building. Please enter through the door with the "Mutual Publishing" sign above it and proceed to the end of the hallway where our office, Suite 210 is located. We look forward to seeing you.
