Impressive Art Show & Sale to Benefit Art Explorium!
We have some really exciting news... dates have just been announced for the Modern Masters Show and Sale in August! Check out the Modern Masters Show and Sale Facebook page to RSVP and get a sneak peek at some of the amazing art pieces that will be included. This event will feature hundreds of art pieces for sale... some new and some older treasures that have been in private collections and are being put back into the public eye for the first time in years. A portion of all proceeds will benefit both Art Explorium and FHiSAM (Friends of the State of Hawaii Art Museum).
This show will feature works by important past and current Hawai`i artists. Many pieces are being donated from generous private collectors in the spirit of perpetuating the importance of passing along historically important works within our community. The show will include works by Jean Charlot, Madge Tennent, John Young, D. Howard Hitchcock, Lloyd Sexton, and many more.
Schedule of Events
August 20-22, 12pm-9pm Preview Show open to the public for a $5 (optional) donation to Art Explorium
August 22, 6pm Sale event start, by invitation only for members of FHiSAM. Join FHiSAM today to get first dibs!

There will be a selection of works by living artists and smaller works on paper that will be available for purchase during the preview show. Prices will be very fair and reasonable, but priced to not devalue the art or artists, again with the generous help of Certified Fine Art Appraiser, Andres Harnisch.

If you would like to volunteer to help out at this event we would love to have you! We especially need volunteers to work at the event from August 20-24. If you are interested in helping out please email Tiffany Torre, ttorrehi@gmail.com.

Description
Nurturing tomorrow's creative thinkers
Art Explorium provides a fun, safe place where children of all ages have the opportunity and the permission to create freely. We firmly believe that art experiences are an important part of every person's growth and development. So... WE provide the space and materials, YOU provide the ideas and make them happen!
Art Explorium strives to be an eco-friendly organization. Many of the art materials in our studio are items that would normally be thrown in the landfill (old pieces of fabric, used bottle caps, small boxes, magazines, ribbon, etc.). We collect these used materials from our friends and local businesses, and Art Explorium visitors give these items a new life as art.
We offer art classes, birthday parties, and field trips to our studio. We also offer Open Studio time - come on in with your family and dabble in one or all of our art stations which offer activities like painting, sculpting, drawing, making mosaics and more. See you there!
General Information
Come on by! During Open Studio time you are free to drop in, use our space and materials and explore the process of creating.
We also offer art classes, birthday parties and field trips to our studio!
Notes
Hours and price subject to change without notice.
Ample metered parking is available on the street or in the lot behind our building.
