Expertly curated programs such as The Early Muse with Ian Capps educate us about music from centuries past, while Howard Dicus enriches listeners' music knowledge by sharing favorites from his personal collection on Howard's Day Off. Sharene Taba highlights accomplishments of the next generation of up-and-coming musicians each Tuesday during her Tuesday Student Takeover on Classical Pacific.
Classical music conversations with visiting artists, renowned musicians and local ensembles are available to listen to on-demand. In addition, daily programs like Performance Today, Exploring Music and weekly rotating performance series feature compositions that uplift our spirits. See the HPR-2 schedule to learn more about our 24/7 classical music offerings.
Classical Pacific host Sharene Taba welcomes harpists Leia, Frances and Lula to the HPR-2 studio.
Howard Dicus shares selections from his personal music library on Howard's Day Off.
Classical host John Kalani Zak helps with on-air fundraising during an HPR Membership Campaign.
